Based in Ireland, Robosteel is an innovative company creating sculpture, movie memorabilia and commissioned pieces all made from scrap metal. This amazing Alien Queen sculpture is almost 8-feet tall and weighs over 1,200 pounds. Over 4,000 pieces of recycled steel were used and the parts come from a range of items such as a car, a boat, a dishwasher, a motorbike, a television and other pieces of recycled steel. Parts are welded together, then sharp edges were smoothed and polished, and lastly it was coated with several layers of lacquer to protect it from the elements. ~$6,200.
