Cabestan Nostromo

The Cabestan Nostromo watch was inspired by the ship from the Alien movie. It may look a bit quirky but according to the designers it boasts “retro-futuristic audacity.” It has exposed vertical mechanics, titanium case, superluminova phosphorescent coating and little side windows for an entertaining view. The manually wound watch has four drums, a drive shaft, and movement bridges that are all visible within its black-coated titanium glow-in-the-dark case. What a price tag! $141,500.

Chosen for its futuristic design, the v-tec® Sigma played an important role in Nicolas Cage’s recent film “Bangkok Dangerous”. Created by the Swiss designer Paolo Fancelli, winner of numerous prizes, the v-tec® Sigma is part of the Ventura collection of innovative and contemporary models characterised by an inimitable style. With its patented EasyScroll® system, V-tec Sigma®’s multiple functions can be used intuitively rather than manually. The watch’s longevity is prolonged by the hardened Durinox® stainless steel case and scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
