Gordon & MacPhail Mortlach 70 Whiskey

The Scottish 70-Year-Old Mortlach from Gordon and MacPhail was unveiled last month at a tasting hosted at Edinburgh Castle. It’s considered the oldest single-malt whiskey in the world as it has been aging in a Spanish oak cask since 1938. The taste is to be considered delicate, vital and fruity as well as waxy and smoky. The limited edition whiskey and bottles are all hand-blown and there are 54 of the full-sized ones and 162 of the smaller ones. $3,000 – $15,000.
